Williamsburg Walks is on for tomorrow!

This week NAG's Open Space Committee will be providing information on how to get your urban garden up and running. Stop by our table at North 7th and Bedford to learn more about that, about NAG, and about how to get involved in your community.

hi guys,

williamsburg walks is great - thanks!

as a long time resident I remember that the 'G' in NAG used to stand for GARBAGE.

i'd really like to know what we can do about all the garbage that accumulates on the sidewalks during williamsburg walks. perhaps a quick sweep every few hours?

also, how about all the overflowing garbage cans on bedford? especially north 7th. walk by any night and you'll see the garbage overflowing in the streets.

we need at least twice as much capacity as we do now. i think maybe 2 large receptacles on each corner.

is there something NAG can do to help with this problem? perhaps post instructions on what we can do? a simple 311 call? a call to the community board?

any help would be appreciated!
